At Clinica Artesana LLC, we want clients to feel empowered to take a hold of their healing.
We aren’t your typical therapy clinic.
Therapy offers an opportunity to learn more about yourself. When you learn how to listen to your body, you can better intuit your boundaries. Rather than traditional talk therapy, we specialize in using the arts to explore nonverbal methods of self-care and holistic paths towards healing.
Clinica Artesana LLC considers the whole self in treatment. Our founder, Priscilla Cerdas has reflected on her own experience as a first-generation American, focusing her efforts on uplifting this community.
Understandably the immigrant experience is unique and to be deeply respected given all there is to overcome. Given that caregivers are hard at work, many children need to navigate systemic challenges more independently than those who have roots in America for several generations. And many do so in a language different than their native tongue.
Clinica Artesana LLC is here to normalize the struggle, not minimize it. To empower you with knowledge and resources. As well as the courage to ask for what you need.
